New Jersey Nonprofit Corporation formed April 2004

A Professional Horseman for 38 years, currently the owner of Snowbird Acres Farm which is managed with her daughter Steffi Siegel. The family has owned and operated the Snowbird Acres Farm since 1978 when they moved to Long Valley from West Orange, N.J. They have care and custody of almost 70 horses annually, and a Riding School schedule with over 400 active students. The farm is located on 75 open acres in Morris County, New Jersey. Vikki Siegel owned and operated the Suburban Essex Riding School in West Orange from 1971 thru 1976. This was the classic postage stamp barn, there were 120 horses on 3+ acres that made the move to open space a delightful change.
Mrs. Siegel started running horse shows at Suburban Essex in 1972 and during 1975 was listed with a star rating by the AHSA. Their current farm has an active show calendar of 40 days for USEF sanctioned horse shows from the A Rated Divisions to B and C Rated Divisions as well as unrecognized schooling shows during the winter months. Available for competition are 4 outdoor arenas (one lighted) and an outside hunter course on grass. There is also an Indoor Arena for all weather comfort with a separate viewing room and offices.
Mrs. Siegel is a Director of the New Jersey Horse Council, she was appointed by Governor Christine Whitman to the New Jersey Sire Stakes, is a member of the Leadership Council of the National Federation of Independent Business of New Jersey and a member of the US Equestrian Federation Committee for Competition Management and was on the , Sunshine Task Force, Hunter Task Force prior to the current merger, Honorary State Chairman for the Business Advisory Committee of the National Republican Congressional Committee.
MARTIN SIEGEL - Vice-President
Over the course of the past 30+ years you have all probably been to some of our shows. You have met Marty who greeted you as you arrived each day on the driveway and made sure you were comfortable and had the best possible place to park your vehicles. He is also the one who makes sure there are enough ribbons at each arena.
Martin Siegel is retired and was a Vice-President for Prime Motor Inns, in charge of construction. He is also a developer and if we go off to horses shows for too long, when we get back he has the farm drawn up into one family house lots.
STEPHANIE SIEGEL - Secretary and Treasurer
Stephanie is our Farm Manager and as many of you may know she is also a registered USEF Judge. At our horse shows she is and has been the Course Designer. Steffi is a graduate of Centenary College, with a BS Degree in Education. She has trained and shown horses since she was 13 years old, with many national and regional championships to her credit..
We are all most anxious to be replaced as Officers and look forward to having you all join us and share the excitement of starting something new and beneficial equally for everyone.. Now is the time for us to seize the moment so that we can all help the horse industry to survive and keep horse farms as a means to keep open green spaces in every community in this country.
