Happy Days Again

Most Competitors do this for pleasure and for recreation. They want to enjoy the day and to feel as if they have accomplished their goal. The usAHSA represents that perspective We are a return to the principles of the AHSA with support  and protection for American horse competition. We will assure competitors and horses of the best standards of performance for each division and breed. We will help shows provide the best tests possible for the performance, and to provide accredited judges, stewards to ensure qualified judging and rule compliance as well as affordable expenses and great Prizes.  On the obstacle courses we will help not hinder the best designs and challenges with level of difficulty.

It is time to demonstrate from the "grassroots" up to the top that we don't need a "TAX and SPEND" Governance. We don't need expensive offices which we never enjoy. We do care, we're not lazy and we will volunteer our skills for the good of all.

No Taxation without representation and especially where the  members do not have the right to vote and be heard

It is the function of an Alliance or Association is to support and protect, with the best possible horses competition for exhibitors, horses and ponies. Neither Competitors or Competition Management need to be policed and punished but rewarded for what they do well. It is our intention to provide assistance and help and the opportunity to be appreciated for excellence. This was why 50 show managers got together and started the AHSA and it worked for a lot of years.

In more than 30 years  I have never known of one person who chose a horse show because of  amenities like  the menu, or flushing toilets. Spectators will  come if the day is a pleasant day with good sportsmen in a pleasant environment with friendly people.
